The Trauma Survivors Network (TSN) is a community of patients and families who are looking to connect with one another and rebuild their lives after a serious injury. The American Trauma Society (ATS), the leading organization advocating for the injured and their families, in partnership with hospitals around the country, is committed to growing the TSN by providing the programs and resources patients and families need.<br /><br />We updated and upgraded all of the TSN code and have begun adding some cool new features, like an iPad optimized Recovery Assessment and new Trauma Center Coordinator management tools!

Santa Fe Institute | Portland State University
Complexity Explorer is a web-based repository of educational materials related to complex systems science. Currently under development by researchers and educators at the Santa Fe Institute and Portland State University, Complexity Explorer will host SFI’s online courses, as well as an extensive complex systems glossary and easily searchable databases of syllabi, citations, and other resources related to complex systems topics.<br /><br />We recently finished the beta build of SFI’s first online course, “Introduction to Complexity”. During 2013 other components of the site will be rolled out as they become ready, and the user community will be solicited to submit additional materials for inclusion.

In cooperation with the interactive media firm Downstream, we designed and built a custom content management system for the new Verizon DNA Walls. The walls' visualize the Verizon Network in its entirety and are extremely fun to play with.
Take Charge of Pain

Johns Hopkins Medical School
Take Charge is an interactive program to help manage pain following an injury or illness run through Johns Hopkins Medical School. The project included the animation and development of seven interactive Flash lessons, a custom backend, and development of the enveloping site.
National Film Preservation Foundation
The National Film Preservation Foundation is the nonprofit organization created by the U.S. Congress to help save America's film heritage. They support activities nationwide that preserve American films and improve film access for study, education, and exhibition.<br /><br />We rebuilt the site from the ground up to include a new screening room for their rotating featured selections, full database search of all preserved films, grants, programs and organizations, and a custom Content Management System.

Historic Map Collection
For the first time since its launch in 1999, the www.davidrumsey.com website has been completely redesigned and updated. It features an integrated blog, comprehensive content management system, and many other map visualizing tools and features. Over 200 historic maps from the collection can be viewed in a new browser-based version of <a href="http://davidrumsey.com/view/google-earth-browser" class="inline" target="_blank">Google Earth</a> and users can enter the <a href="http://davidrumsey.com/view/second_life" class="inline" target="_blank">Second Life</a> version of the map collection directly from a dedicated portal page on the site.<br /><br /><strong>All 21,000+ maps are licensed with Creative Commons</strong> and a new service from Pictopia allows purchase of reproductions of any map in the collection. Be sure to take some time and browse this amazing collection!
